Firmament

In Firmament, forest fragments are gathered into a spiral, evoking the vault of the heavens through the language of earth. Leaves, feathers, seed pods, shells, and stones are placed in circular motion. The spiral offers an emblem of continuity: each object distinct, yet drawn into relationship. The composition becomes a meditation on correspondence, where the small mirrors the vast, and where cycles of decay and renewal echo the patterns of the stars.
